Canciones Imaginarias consists of 18 Lorca settings in 3 sections:
1. Canciones Populares (folk-influenced settings)
2. Canciones Elegíacas (cante jondo influenced settings)
3. La Triolgía de la Luna (art song settings)

The sections may be performed as stand-alone collections, or songs may be selected from throughout the cycle provided the order is adhered to.
